Breaking Away

This series of images is all about breaking away from the familiar. The photographs are still taken in the outdoors and incorporate the shapes and textures of the natural world but rather than avoiding the inclusion of man-made shapes I have purposely used their contrasting geometry to order the more chaotic natural forms. I have also experimented with processing the images, thinking about them more as paintings than photographs..
