Having originally trained in textile design I have always had a love of colour and texture and it is this that I now explore through my photography. Using techniques such as multiple exposure and intentional camera movement, my wish is to use my camera as a tool that allows me to express my emotional response.
I have been influenced by both photographers and artists and continue to learn from those who generously share their knowledge. Valda Bailey and Doug Chinnery have been both motivational and inspirational and of course, those who have become friends, through our shared interest can be so supportive when the creative block kicks in!.
